Last week, I went to Kobe City and Tokushima with my friend.
On August 18th★
We went to watch a baseball game at Koshien stadium in Kobe. That was the day of the final match of high school baseball league in Japan. We neither had been there, so we decided to go. Fortunately, Tokoha-Kikugawa high school, that is the champion of Shizuoka, advanced to the finals! I was happy to watch their game directly. We cheered them, but they couldn't win. However, I felt that I had precious time there.
After that, we went to Port Tower and Mosaic Garden in Kobe. We went up Port Tower and looked at the night view. That was wonderful!!
We ate dinner at Mosaic Garden, that is a shopping mall, and returned to the hotel.
On August 19th★
This day was very very hot!!!! We went to Tokushima by bus from Kobe. It took about 2 hours.
At first, we arrived at Naruto City. There is the Naruto Straits and a famous place of whirlpool viewing! We saw it from Uzuno-michi walkway. We passed on the walkway, but sometimes I felt scared! Because the walkway often shook and it has transparent window glasses!
If you have an interest in it, please check the website. It has also English pages.
And also, we got on a ship and watched it! Can you see the sea is whirling?
Next, we visited Tokushima city. We had been supposed to go there during the Awaodori season and meet a friend living in Tokushima, but we couldn't. Because he is busy for studying to take a public service examination.
In Tokushima, we went up Mt. Bizan. We used a ropeway and climbed to the top. It was beautiful! And also, I felt comfortable because the wind was cool. We couldn't see the famous night view, but I was satisfied.
After that, we went to Awaji island to stay a hotel. This hotel was really fantastic!!! We reserved a standard room, but the rooms were fully booked up that night. Then, we could stay a junior sweet room!!! When we entered the room, we were surprised at everything! Our most surprising thing was that the room had 2 rest rooms and 3 TVs; in addition, one of the TVs was set up in the bath room!!!
On August 20th★
We paid and drew fortune slips. I heard that the shrine is sacred to the gods of health, so I bought 2 talismans for my father and mother.
Next, we went to the Izinkan street that Western people used to live there. We didn't have enough time and power to see everything, but we enjoyed viewing the scenery.
I spent so much money for the trip...but it was very nice trip!! I also enjoyed talking with my friend. She lives in Tokyo now, so we can't meet many times. I promised with her that we will travel again until we'll graduate.
Thank you for reading this long post♪
