I finished writing my thesis on last Friday, 19th!!

I had a seminar on Friday and that day was the deadline of the thesis.
My seminar teacher was ready Christmas cake for us!! In addition, the cake was from Quil fait bon!!
The fruits turt which we ate was so delicious!!!!
I really appreciate for my teacher.

Although I said that I finished writing my thesis, I'm not satisfied with the contents.
I have more days until we submit for the department of school affairs, so I want to change a little.
I'll try hard to write perfect thesis!!

School Festival

Today, our school festival called Hekifu-sai was held in SUAC!
I participated as a member of ESS.
We sold hand-made soaps and sodas from America, and held English lessons for children.

I was happy because some people were interested in hand-made soaps and bought a lot! And also, I enjoyed watching the children taking English lessons. They seemed enjoying English very much. I thought the idea was really nice!
I hope it would be held next year, too.

We owe our teachers a lot! Mark and Tom, Thank you so much!!!!!

Busy

Although I said I would write something on this blog at the end of September, this is first time to write in October actually. How lazy I am! orz

Maybe, thesis paper is the reason why I was busy recently.

I study sports culture and research the sports coaching system, but it's difficult.

I chose this theme because I was interested in sports instructors. However, it is more complicated than I've ever thought.

Although this is the theme that I chose by myself, sometimes I think I want to change.

I recommend third year students to choose the themes of their thesis paper soooo carefully!

I'm worried whether I could finish writing...

However, I have to try my best!!!!!!

Next week, I'll have a presentation of my thesis. I have to prepare!

New semester!

Today, new and last semester started!!
I'm so sad when I think that I'll leave EDC and SUAC...
I have to do my best more than any other semesters!
Especially, I should work a lot for a TOEIC test! I don't have good score like our members..... so must STUDY, STUDY and STUDY!!!!

Anyway, although I set up this blog for my summer homework, I'm going to keep writing after the break.
I enjoyed writing the blog and also like reading another one's.
I wish everyone would keep writing, too♪

Date

On 25th, I went out with my older sister and my boyfriend.

At first, we went to Hamamatsu by car. We ate lunch at a cafe near SUAC.
The cafe's name is Incense. It is located in Act avenue. Do you know?
The interior of the shop was cute! Food was also nice!
My sister had wanted to go the cafe, so I felt happy to see that she looked satisfied.

Next, we went to AEON mall in Shitoro.
We bought some goods at Village Vanguard.
After that, we had sweets at Pastel. This shop is famous for puddings, but another cakes are really nice.

We ordered a chocolate cake, a pudding cake and a tart of chestnuts.
All of the cakes was soooo delicious!!!

I felt very very happy. I thought sweets were necessary for me. If you're tired, I recommend to have sweets!

It was really nice date!(?) I'm happy to see that my sister and my boyfriend get along with. We planned to go out next month, too. I'm looking forward the time.

Fun!!

7 days trainings finished today!!!
I learned a lot of things during 7 days.

Before the job starts, I felt nervous and anxious.
However, now, I look forward to working from April!!

I really appreciate the staffs in the shop. Everyone was so kind and taught me politely. In addition, they are funny, so I laughed all the time!

It was hard for me to go to the shop located in Irino , but I coud have precious time!

I don't know which shops I'll be located in April. However, I wish I could work at this shop♪

A part time training at an eye glass shop started from yesterday!!
I got very very nervous at first... However, everyone in the shop is kind! So, I can enjoy working with them.

They taught me a lot of things about lens, frames, manners and so on. It's pleasure for me to know new things. It's hard, but I wanna try to gain knowledge as fast as possible and help people.

I have more 5 days. I'll challenge everything that I can do!

Surprising

On September 4th, I went to Nagoya alone. What for? The answer is...

To buy a birthday present for my boyfriend☆

His birthday is next Monday, so now is the time to prepare for the day.

I hadn't decided what to buy, so I went around Sakae station in Nagoya. I went into the building called Lachic and found my favorite shop ''PORTER''. (YOSHIDA&CO.) Do you know? Porter is one of the shops selling bags. I like this shop because porter's bags are simple and sturdy. Some materials are expensive, but some are reasonable. I thought it's a nice idea to give him the bag.

When I went to the shop and was looking around, a woman of the shop came to me. While I was talking with her, I noticed a interesting thing. When I looked her name tag........I noticed that her name is KAHORI!!!!!!
I was really surprised, but I felt happy to meet a person whose name is same as mine because my name is not familiar. I thought that it was destiny! I had another idea for a present, but I decided to buy at the shop!!!!

We talked for a long time and finally I bought a black west bag.

When I went out the shop, I told her that my name is also Kahori. Then, she was very surprised, too! She said that it was first time for her to meet a person whose name is Kahori.

It was very nice shopping♪ I like to communicate with others and it is important!!
When I give him the present, I'll tell him this story because I can't say now.

Last day

Today was the last day of August.

Unbelievable!!

Getting older, I feel passing time is fast and fast...

I really enjoyed the summer vacation in August! Therefore, I have to work hard in September.

At first, I have to write a graduation thesis! I'm going to give a presentation in the end of October in front of seminar members. I have 6 chapters including a introduction and a conclusion in my thesis, but I wrote only 2 chapters! I have to read a lot of books, research, and organize...

Secondly, I'm going to work at a eyeglass shop that I'll work after I graduate. It's a kind of training for only 7 days. However, I can get money! Lucky♪ But!! In other words, I have much responsibility for my behavior. I'll do my best!!

Thirdly, I have to think about next presentation theme in the presentation class. Did everyone find your theme?? Next one is last presentation for us, so I want to give a perfect presentation! I have to find a good theme and prepare!

I have many things to do! I hope I could spend a full vacation in September, too★☆

Olympics

2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing are closed recently. I like sports, so I enjoyed watching Olympic games during a few weeks.

The most impressed thing is that Kosuke Kitajima who is a swimmer got 2 gold medals!! I was watching the race on TV with my friend. I thought he could have been put a lot of pressure from others. However, he didn't defend!! In addition, he set up a world record for the 100m breaststroke category. He is amazing! I felt that I have to make efforts to achieve my goal like him.

Anyway, Beijing Olympics finished and next one will be held in London in 2012. I really wanna go there!! Because I promised with my host mother that I'll come back to London in 2012 when I stayed London to study English.

I found this news on BBC website. In London, it seems that the Olympic is already warming up!

3 days traveling

Hello.
Last week, I went to Kobe City and Tokushima with my friend.

On August 18th★

We went to watch a baseball game at Koshien stadium in Kobe. That was the day of the final match of high school baseball league in Japan. We neither had been there, so we decided to go. Fortunately, Tokoha-Kikugawa high school, that is the champion of Shizuoka, advanced to the finals! I was happy to watch their game directly. We cheered them, but they couldn't win. However, I felt that I had precious time there.

After that, we went to Port Tower and Mosaic Garden in Kobe. We went up Port Tower and looked at the night view. That was wonderful!!

We ate dinner at Mosaic Garden, that is a shopping mall, and returned to the hotel.

On August 19th★

This day was very very hot!!!! We went to Tokushima by bus from Kobe. It took about 2 hours.

At first, we arrived at Naruto City. There is the Naruto Straits and a famous place of whirlpool viewing! We saw it from Uzuno-michi walkway. We passed on the walkway, but sometimes I felt scared! Because the walkway often shook and it has transparent window glasses!
If you have an interest in it, please check the website. It has also English pages.

And also, we got on a ship and watched it! Can you see the sea is whirling?

Next, we visited Tokushima city. We had been supposed to go there during the Awaodori season and meet a friend living in Tokushima, but we couldn't. Because he is busy for studying to take a public service examination.
In Tokushima, we went up Mt. Bizan. We used a ropeway and climbed to the top. It was beautiful! And also, I felt comfortable because the wind was cool. We couldn't see the famous night view, but I was satisfied.

After that, we went to Awaji island to stay a hotel. This hotel was really fantastic!!! We reserved a standard room, but the rooms were fully booked up that night. Then, we could stay a junior sweet room!!! When we entered the room, we were surprised at everything! Our most surprising thing was that the room had 2 rest rooms and 3 TVs; in addition, one of the TVs was set up in the bath room!!!

We drunk and relaxed here♪♪

On August 20th★

We went back to Kobe again. At first, we visited Ikuta Shrine. The shrine is famous because a Japanese actress, Norika Fujiwara, and a comedian, Tomonori Jinnai, wedded there.
We paid and drew fortune slips. I heard that the shrine is sacred to the gods of health, so I bought 2 talismans for my father and mother.

Next, we went to the Izinkan street that Western people used to live there. We didn't have enough time and power to see everything, but we enjoyed viewing the scenery.

I spent so much money for the trip...but it was very nice trip!! I also enjoyed talking with my friend. She lives in Tokyo now, so we can't meet many times. I promised with her that we will travel again until we'll graduate.

Thank you for reading this long post♪

Enjoy summer

Hello! I haven't written for a long time because I was busy recently. Why busy? Because I enjoy last looong summer vacation♪ I'll start working from next year, so the long summer vacation is last for me....so sad.

I did a lot of things during a few weeks.
On August 9th, I went to see the firework in Fukuroi City.

This firework is one of the best around here.
Thirty thousand rockets were shot off on the river.
They were very very beautiful!!!

Besides, I was happy to wear yukata. In this year, I tried wearing by myself!!

I could, but finally my grandmother fixed my sash. It is cute, isn't it??

Next, I will write about the trip to Kobe and Tokushima.
See you~~☆★

I feel pity for her! She has nice fur on herself... must be hot!!!!!!!!
I hope I could take her to some cool place.

ESS Activity

Yesterday, we, ESS, made soaps for the school festival, that is called Hekifu-sai. That was second time to do. The first one was held at Mr. Sheehan's house, and this was at Create Hamamatsu. I couldn't take part in the first time, so I was happy to help.

Making soaps was fun!! It was completely new for me and we could enjoy working together. However, everyone looked tired after finished because we had to take very careful to treat chemicals! You can see some pictures on ESS blog.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to Hekifu-sai. It will be held October 25th and 26th. If you have time, please come to see us and buy them!!

Finish!!

Today, I had the last class of this semester at SUAC. All of tests and reports finished!! Today, I had Mark's class, that is grade3. At first, we talked about our homework and then enjoyed talking about our summer vacations. Now, I'm planning to go to Tokushima and Kobe with my friend. One of my friends lives in Tokushima, so we'll meet him and watch Awaodori. In Kobe, we're going to watch baseball games at Koshien studium. That is my big event during summer vacation.

Anyway, I can't believe that I have only one semester that I can take the SUAC's class! Of course, EDC will finish next semester...so sad. I'll try to do my best in the next, too! I really thank my teachers for nice classes.
